Someone has managed to post a video clip of cameramen or directors of the news program or both at FOX talking before a Republican debate in September. The man directing the cameramen said specifically not to capture Ron Paul supporters in the crowd. Strange, eh?

I think that the man with the mustache may be WILX correspondent Tim Skubick.

WILX is an NBC affiliate in the Lansing area.
Yea, that’s Tim Skubick. Not a Fox guy but apparently a big douche.
Let him know how you feel people! Especially those of us from Lansing.

I wrote him a letter using the link ajax gave.
“You are eerily frank about not wanting Ron Paul supporters in the picture while taping a segment. Lovely, you are part of the machine that doesn’t want change but simply the status quo with the current crop of other “front runners.” Don’t be such a new world order shill. You disappoint me. I know you needn’t be part of the FOX News Network to be one.
I believe that this is you in the video, otherwise I am gravely mistaken.

How many times will we have to catch The Media censoring, distorting or just making up the news before people recognize it for what it is? Propaganda.
They are acting together to keep the US on the railroad to destruction.
Who benefits?
I dont blame them…..Ron Paul is a joke and not worth wasting footage on.

@jy: Why is Ron Paul a joke? Because he is the only honest and sincere candidate? Because he isn’t in the pocket of some special interest groups or lobbiest? In that case yeah, I guess he is a joke.
I guess you only like candidate that lie, deceive, and get bought off.
Ron Paul for President and Mike Gravel for Vice-President … Too bad Eugene McCarthy isn’t around anymore.
Ah propaganda – ensuring we never see anything but what corporate interests want us to think.
We need facts.
Who are these people in the video? You mention names, but these could be lies as I know no better.
How do we know this video was not dubbed over with someone else’s voice and comments just to smear Fox?
I am a Ron Paul supporter, but I hold EVERYTHING with a grain of salt. This could or could not be true, just don’t believe everything that you see.
The front runners should be: (in no particular order)
Ron Paul
Mike Gravel
Dennis Kucinich
Paul/Colbert 08 !!!
wait, someone working in television was intentionally distorting reality?… no way!
This is silly. As a cameraman/editor myself, what this appears to me to be is a producer asking the camerman to get shots of the audience eating and not Paul’s staff people. Simple. The shots would “tell” different stories – one would better communicate “audience” and the other “staff”. This is a major part of visual communication – it’s called bias, and everyone has one. In this case the bias seems benign to me. And anyway, how do we know – maybe the producer had enough shot of Paul’s people and was admonishing the cameraman to get him the audience shots he needs? Happens frequently…

Not sure Fox is really trying to censor Ron Paul but I would not put it past them. Fox news is a sham anyway…
We had interesting post on Ron Paul some may like to check out…

Not sure they are either, but it’s fun to read about. Great post!
Nobody else wants Ron Paul people either.
Ron Paul is a huge pork spender, but lies about it, pretending to be conservative fiscally. He has received money from and spent money on new nazi groups like Stormfront. Many of Ron Pauls supporters are white supremacist and 9/11 conspiracy theorists who believe neo cons (jews) were responsible.
Ron Paul wrote that blacks are inferior and white pride and racism is justified by the facts. He wrote this for a new nazi magazine that paid Ron Paul over the course of several articles. Years later, when asked to explain these writings, Ron lied and claimed he didn’t write them, but rather used a ghost writer (several times without checking what was written under Ron’s name, thus paying him for more of the same racist drivel).
Ron’s racist ramblings are too disgusting to be repeated. Google for yourself if you really want to see how dark this bastard is. Sadly, there is a small group of LaRouche/Buchanan/racist whackos left in America who insist Ron Paul is the only hope for our horrible country.
For some reason, Hillary and Rudy do not have the same type of invective and fear mongering.
Like I said, Ron Paul nazis need to be ignored. They aren’t there to win, they are there to harm minorities.
Gravel and Kucinich are, like Ron Paul, very far from being Republicans.
Same for Buchanan
[...] Fox news is again caught in an act of more than questionable integrity: Anchors discussing censoring Ron Paul supporters. [...]
Ado–
You are completely wrong. nothing you said had any shred of truth to it. The articles were not for a new nazi magizine, they were from his own personal new letter. and they were not written by him. the person was fired as soon as it was brought to Paul’s attention.
Pork spending charge is supposively because of his earmarks. He thinks that as long as they system dictates this is the way to get money for your home district, he will send the earmarks through. Yet he votes against most every single one. read up before you make blanket statements. He has never voted for a tax increase or unbalanced budget.
Paul wants freedom for the individual…regardless of color or sexual orientation. Read any of his actual writing and you will get that.
Hillary and Rudy dont fear monger? Are you kidding me? Rudy said that if you elect a democrat you want to get bombed. Hillary is Hillary so she is telling how bad another Republican would be (even though her policies arent that different from the current administration).
Ron Paul nazis? you obviously dont know what a nazi is. Take your mindless rhetoric and go home.
A middle-aged American, I’ve fought censorship since I was a teenager. It pisses me off. This isn’t censorship, for two reasons. First, censorship, in U.S. law, requires government action. Second, even if we pretend that the TV producer was working under the color of government, his actions would be impermissible only if they qualified as “prior restraint”. For prior restraint to have occurred, the producer would have to have had a fair idea of the content of Congressman Paul’s remarks, and would have to have interfered with the remarks. There is no evidence of either.
As to Mr. Paul’s candidacy, it appeals less to Republicans than it does to people who would like to see the GOP splintered going into the election. The thinking is that when Mr. Paul fails to poll high enough to qualify for the federal funding he would need to continue his underfunded GOP campaign, he’ll once again run as a Libertarian or Independent, bringing with him enough residual GOP support to foil the Republicans (among whom he clearly is uncomfortable). Trouble with that scenario is the first point made here: he appeals more to Democrats. So any independent Paul run will pull more votes from Senator Clinton than from the GOP nominee.
Thank you Sonny, and ado you’re either a paid shill or just bonehead ignorant . That old racism wheeze has been disproven/debunked probably 100,000 times or more in the blogosphere. Do some research before you start blathering like an idiot. His policies are at http://www.ronpaul2008.com. Have at it!
Ron Paul truly believes that the IRS is taking our money away from us illegally. Therefore his “pork” is his way of giving his constituents’ tax money back to them. If you really take the time to do the research you’ll discover he’s right on the money (pun!) because the amendment to the Constitution allowing for income tax was never ratified. It’s still out there dangling, waiting for a few key states to weigh in on the matter. For decades, scores even, it’s just been . . . unenforceable.

LANCE, would you please add a question mark to your heading? Without it, or some more troublesome changes, I’m you’d be in the (presumably unwanted) position of spreading lies on the Internet in the context of a presidential election. (see 4:37 pm post.) That’s not good for anyone. Just hook bloggers with the question, and then present your stuff, if you still want it up. That’s honest and easy enough, isn’t it?
