The latest CBS poll out has Ron Paul at 8% among registered Republicans who are likely to vote in the primaries. Given that a large number of Paul supporters are always excluded from the polling data, it is possible that Ron Paul could win New Hampshire when their primary is held.
Yesterday on Sean Hannity’s radio show Mr. Zogby was a guest who said that Ron Paul could take up to 18% of the vote–I’d like to think it is a higher amount overall but he could win it. I know Zogby says Ron Paul won’t win to Sean Hannity, but he’s just reassuring himself. It is going to really depend on how many independents, Democrats, and new voters go for Ron Paul. From what I can tell it is very difficult to measure that because it’s impossible to figure out who all is going to vote in a primary for a Republican when half the state are registered independents plus a lot of libertarian minded people who probably vote for libertarian party candidates most of the time.
If Paul manages to take New Hampshire, he might storm the rest of the country. It’s going to be an interesting winter for the primaries nontheless.

Unfortunately it took segregationist Governor Wallace to reveal the truth that “there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between” Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats willingly went along with the War in Iraq, suspension of Habeas Corpus, detaining protesters, banning books like “America Deceived’ from Amazon, stealing private lands (Kelo decision), warrant-less wiretapping and refusing to investigate 9/11 properly. They are both guilty of treason.

Let’s be clear that Zogby also said Paul had no chance of winning. I mean, i was excited when I heard the numbers, but the truth is a little less explosive.
with the republican race split with no clear frontrunner I think Paul has a chance. Let Rudy G/Thompson/Mitt/McCain split the head in the sand demographic and Paul may not need more than 15 to 20% to win a lot of these primaries.

What’s amazing is that Zogby says Dr. Paul has no chance of winning, (which I believe is up to US…the voters!).
He also had no chance of breaking all the other records he has broken, (most searches and views on Google, YouTube, most money raised in one day on the internet, ect. ect.)
And remember folks, these are predictions from the guy who says W’s popularity is still at 34 percent, when we all know it dropped to minus 100 percent months ago.

Do you know what I think is sad. Americans who constantly empower the negative. What is the negative? Well, the negative is two political parties, whos politicians abuse the American citizenry by running the nation into hundreds of billions of dollars of debt, because of a war the agenda of which has never really been explained to us. Two political parties politicians who allow massive uncontroled entrance of people into the nation, without checking just who these people are and what they are doing here. Or, two political parties who allow the American citizenry to suffer massive wage depression, because of those millions here illegally. Sad, is two political parties who give out money to every nation in the world but not to help Americans here at home, who have paid taxes and 40 million of whom do not even have basic health care. We are alone among modern nations who will not care for our citizens.
Question: whether one is a conservative or liberal or anything inbetween, what is so risky, what is so scary, about giving someone like Dr. Ron Paul, a chance to take office as President? Would things be worse than they are now?

When you have no argument to put forward, no valid point to make, utilise comedic sarcasm to change the mood of the discussion and induce a dismissive lighthearted attitude in the reader. Peer pressure tactics from the school playground that try to change the reader’s opinion under threat of ridicule (If you believe that you are dumb or stupid). This last desperate tactic is used when no reasonable argument can be made.

Mr. Zogby is a businessman, first and foremost, and doesn’t want to lose business by offending the other candidates, so it is natural for him to state he doesn’t think the “dark horse” will win. Stating even the possibility given what is at stake for the establishment could cost him a great deal of money, I am sure. But his opinion, as pointed out by others here, is not the key issue in deciding this race.
The key may be, however, ensuring that the margain of victory is so wide that fraudulantly stealing the election is impossible. That would truly be a revolutionary moment in the history of the planet, because not only wil the right man have won, but the fraud and deception that has characterized American politics over the last few generations will have been revealed and the old trick rendered useless. But it is important that people “actively” support Dr. Paul’s candidacy and give financially for this peaceful revolution to be successful. Only by having the people actively participate in the political life of the country does that country have a hope of creating the freedom and prosperity that goes with it.

I fully support the efforts of Dr. Ron Paul.
However with the increasing amounts of smear tactics and lies about him being printed, he needs to be very vigilant about those in the ruling elite.
Bear in mind that those in public office who do not follow the party line are blackmailed, framed or even eliminated from positions of power.
Do not be surprised if at some point if Dr. Paul gets too popular with the masses, that there is some attempt to assassinate him(the lone gunman), or kill him off in some freak auto or airplane accident.

As is the case for so many of the RP supporters, I have jumped ship from some other party to register as a Republicn in order to vote for Dr. Paul in California’s primary. It is very interesting to note tht in order for Dr. Paul to qualify for the Iowa debate he needs to poll at 5%+ and FoxNews is the keeper of the polling data that will be used to measue his “qualifications.” On a lark I did a search for Ron Paul on the FoxNews website and got a handful of hits, mostly negitive, and I suspect that NewsCorp will do all they can/need to to prevent their candidate- Rudy- from having to face Dr. Paul in those debates.
With the alternative media revolution and the restoration of our freedom of speech (controlled and censored for at least the last seventy years), the American people are awakening from their long slumber. You can sense revolution is brewing, and oh dear God, how sweet it is.

The Democrats and Republicans as National Committees that are responsible for nominating candidates have not presented a candidate of the people, by the people or for the people. The national limelight shines on those candidates that have managed to gather special interest funding.

Why doesn’t Ron Paul do better in the so-called polls of likely Republican primary voters? Because of the polling sample. Who is “likely to vote in the Repub primary”? The easy answer (to the pollsters) is: Those who voted for George Bush in 2004!
I really hope Ron Paul wins the NH primary. Then it will be amusing to see jerks like Sean Hannity dismiss it by saying “Oh well, that’s just a fluke, NH is a small state, it doesn’t matter. It isn’t the primaries that picks the candidate, it’s the convention delegates.”

After the Fox debates when Paul came in 2nd and then 1st, Hannity said “Oh no, it’s that 3% of Ron Paul people just calling in over and over, flooding the poll.” But Hannity KNEW that you can only vote once from any phone, If you try to call in a 2nd time it says “You have already voted.” I think it is despicable that Hannity would LIE to downplay the Ron Paul support. But then this is a man who thinks that the War is THE only issue that really matters, and if you aren’t for the war, you can’t be a Republican.
I urge everyone to send Ron Paul a few bucks, anything you can afford. The small donations add up, and anyone who has sent even a small amount has made a commitment to vote for Paul. Same thing for lawn signs and bumper stickers. Put them on your yard and vehicles, and give them to others too.
I just finished reading Goldwater’s autobiography and I am convinced that if he were alive today, he would support Ron Paul.
I LOVE Ron Paul and hope like heck that he wins but how can some of you be so sure about him winning when the polls show him lagging? Is it just wishful hoping on your part (which I have too) or do you guys know something I don’t?

Or that they didn’t skewer the questions to get the results they want us to believe? Or that they didn’t omit a candidate they don’t want to win -like they are now doing in leaving Ron Paul out of the possible responses??Or that they are paid by certain parties to come up with a desired” result ” ? While it is true that it is the underlying principles that are important, it is also true that revolutionary changes are centered about the man.
Remember John Freemont. He was the first rep party candidate for president. But it took the man, Abe Lincoln, to win the first Republican presidency.

What will we do if the votes are rigged and Ron Paul loses???? You know they are going to rig the elections.
If the elections are rigged maybe we need a huge online poll signed by everyone who voted for Paul. This includes the primaries and general election.
There are obvious reasons to vote for Paul. I never took much stock in conspiracies, but the media is proving them to be true each day. Last month Zogby had a poll showing Paul with 33%. It got buried because then the press would have to give Paul the time he deserves. Fox has banned him from their New Hampshire debate forum and Katie Couric wont interview him with the other leading candidates. There are so many stories like these that even the most cynical person is waking up to it.

Ron Paul has the qualities for being one of this nations truest leaders. Something we’ve lacked for a long time, and something the other candidates lack as well. We don’t want another push over president. This guy is brave and honest. He’ll protect our rights which are being threatened far more than anything else right now. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln were all very bold and brave. Ron Paul is the same as them, “a man of the people”. I believe a major change is abroad here.
Reality check time, people; fifth place in Iowa. It looks like the ‘Revolution’ people do revoltingly at the polls. New Hampshire is do or die (or go independent).
I’m not even an American, but his humility and simple reasoned responses are inspirational for anyone who’s sick of bickering ineffectual self-serving egalitarian politicians and physcopathic corporations they bed with. If he doesn’t win, or gets a free year, would you mind if we in Australia borrowed him in place of our collective government?
I’m going off to donate now as it can only help Australia and the rest the planet as well.
