And then there was Ron Paul. Why didn’t Fox stick to its guns and keep him out? He was a distraction for a good portion of the debate and took away from the candidates who have a real shot at the nomination. Then again, we know what it’s like to have our comment boards and email boxes flooded with upset Paul supporters.
Six guys, five giving the same general types of answers, all except one. Yes, Mr. Todd, that certainly is a distraction!

Besides from looking slightly confused during the Iran discussion, I thought Paul did OK. He’s clearly not concerned with the same things as the other candidates, and sometimes it comes across like he’s dodging questions. He doesn’t need new ideas, just a new speech coach.
