Pat Buchanan’s The American Conservative magazine has come out in support of Dr. Ron Paul for President of these United States.
The presidential fields of both parties have narrowed, and the arguments about how we should move forward are now familiar. TAC believes that only one candidate has put forth a diagnosis of America’s current ills and has a vision to turn the country off its misguided course. That is Congressman Ron Paul, whom we endorse for the Republican nomination.
The magazine made a wise choice in my opinion. Mitt Romney and John McCain have shown themselves to be the bottom of the barrel scum that they are, Mike Huckabee will not gain any more votes (he can only lose them, he is helping McCain at this point) and Ron Paul is still the underdog–but the only one who can still break out and beat McCain.
Not to mention the possibility of winning, Dr. Paul has always stuck with the consistent message of gold, prosperity, liberty, and non-interventionism, policies that I advocate and that these United States were founded on.
