Americans have apparently learned it from the Government; from thin air, apparently.
Americans put $2.2 trillion in debt on their credit cards last year
Wait untill the credit card agreements become multi-generational, just like our national debt.

Haha, where people THINK. Good one!
Well, I have heard a little buzz recently from news stories on the Hill that credit cards are on the radar now, which is good. I’m not sure how much will get done, or when, but its something that needs light. And the thing is, its not just killing consumers but businesses are getting hit by the greedy credit card companies too. Interchange fees were something I had never heard of until I did some work with Unfaircreditcardfees.com – and those fees are really anti-small business and something that Congress should definitely focus in on.
Ryland; it is the consumers that need to control themselves by living within their means. I have paid nothing in credit card fees in 20 years; because I remain in control and have always lived within (or below) our means, whatever level they are.
It’s something called personal responsibility; a radically conservative idea.
See, thats what you think, but you actually always pay credit card fees with every purchase. Interchange fees raise the price of everything you purchase because merchants don’t want to lose a profit from a fee thats charged to them. If you check out that website you’ll see that it costs ever American tons of money every year because of these fees.
