A couple of political news pieces from the celebrity world. The first is that French actress Marion Cotillard expressed doubt over the official September 11th account given by the U.S. government.

“I think we’re lied to about a lot of things,” she said during a television programme first broadcast last year which has resurfaced on the Internet.

The second and far less interesting piece is that Martin Sheen is getting recognition at the University of Notre Dame for his humanitarian work.

“He [Sheen] has used that celebrity to draw the attention of his fellow citizens to issues that cry out for redress, such as the plight of immigrant workers and homeless people, the waging of unjust war, the killing of the unborn and capital punishment,” Jenkins said.
