Here are some more readings to do on Obama and the Rezko case, make your own judgment:
- Politico: “Rezko role bigger than admitted“
- Chicago Tribune: “Obama’s Rezko narrative“
- Barack Obama’s Chicago Tribune interview
That’s all I’ve ran into this morning, if you have something interesting feel free to post a link to it in the comments.

I think Obama’s church is more interesting than this. Clinton has 18 of these skeletons in her closet. This is gossip. We can do better.
Why don’t we talk about how Obama won’t fix the irresponsible entitlement state, and will in fact, expand it to the point where all future generations living in the system are doomed, until it is changed.
Obama is a progressive, so we shouldn’t expect him to promote laissez faire economics. If Obama were to become president, I would hope he’d promote transparency in government, and stop the interventionist foreign policy (read: not go to war with Iran). We can expect lower taxes from McCain, but more war.
Ignore the gossip. You’ve got a couple of choices, and there are real issues at stake. What one of the candidate’s pastor says should carry little weight.
Fooser, I think we can talk about that in 2012 when his policies have shown they don’t work. Otherwise, it is the classic conservative/libertarian vs Liberal/statist debate.
Frankly, the lower taxes are not warranted right now in my opinion. First, we need to quit spending and use the tax revenue to pay down debt. The US mortgage payment is killing us. Sad how Clinton was the only president in the last 50 years to point to as an example and all he was able to do was hold the line.
