A solution to the Superdelegate dilemna

To end all this carrying on about whether the superdelegates should/can/will overturn the voters, an easy solution is at hand:

On June 10th, there should be one last primary wherein the superdelegates vote by SECRET BALLOT, - just like everybody else - and the results are announced proporionately, just like all the other primaries.

That should put an end to the problem. Then on to the convention.

  1. A secret ballot would be great… for Hillary. Then the superdelegates would have plausible deniability if they overturn the pledged delegate votes. And they disperse the blame for the following race riots in Denver.

Of course, it protects them from Clinton retribution as well, if they put Obama in. However, here’s the giant fly in that ointment: while Barack might have more campaign money to play with, the Clintons have the massive ‘mystery money’ of their library and their Foundation. Money whose lack of tracking makes it ideal for outright bribes. And does anybody not think superdelegate bribery, blackmail and extrosion- subtle or direct- aren’t going on behind the scenes, where the Clintons have the advantage? Only those who still believe in the tooth fairy.

  2. I will be surprised if Barack got the nomination, frankly. It’s much like people responding to polls–there seem to be closet racists in the Democrat party, or people fearful of being branded racists by (no one).

These people in New Hampshire said Obama when a telephone pollster called them but said Clinton on the ballot, and thats what mattered.

    Superdelegates are the same way.
