US and Iran holding ’secret’ talks on nukes

The Independent reports that the United States and Iran are having ’secret’ talks about the nuclear enrichment program:

One of the participants, former senior US diplomat Thomas Pickering, explained that a group of former American diplomats and experts had been meeting with Iranian academics and policy advisers “in a lot of different places, although not in the US or Iran”.

    Norm: ‘Mr Blowjob’ (accused of lying under oath not a blowjob) spread a few loose missiles around as well: (Afghanistan, Sudan, etc.), along with actually setting the precedence for pre-emptive war (with Bosnia).

    As for torture, reading the article demonstrates that the Bush gang learned another lesson from Bill Clinton; how to parse words flexibly. ‘Is’, ’sex’, ‘torture’; all mean different things to different people.
