Drudge wants to know: Obama-Edwards?

Edwards endorsed Obama today if you didn’t get a chance to read the news. Headline on Drudge Report’s site: “The Ticket?” with a picture of Obama and Edwards. I am positive Obama will pick a white male if he intends on winning, but I’m not seeing Edwards as a strong point.

  1. Talk about a “Liberal” ticket if thats the kind of Change he’s looking to make, I’ll pass.

  2. I have nothing to base it on, but I don’t see Obama picking Edwards. Maybe the fact that he brought nothing to the Kerry/Edwards ticket. Or that he performed so poorly in the primaries. He is not a vote magnet. I will bite my tongue for saying this but it might have to be Hillary. She fills the gaps for Obama. The strongest candidate would be Colin Powell, as I’ve said before, but that will not happen.

  3. I see why he did it. He is today sending out contribution requests for the
scholarship pilot project he has been trying to get off the ground. What better way to get his name back in the public eye than that?….

  4. Norm’s right, it’s all about Eddie. Watch for all the cabinet hopefuls that have stood on the sidelines to make endorsements now that O has it in the bag (Eddie wants HUD). I still think it’s Richardson for Veep. Stone racists are unattainable, and having Hil on the ticket won’t matter there, but the hispanic vote is up for grabs. “Reagan Democrats” will go to O in repudiation of the awful GOP performance over the last 8 years.

  5. John Edwards, Attorney General; doesn’t the thought of that just give you the warm fuzzies? With his court record, watch major businesses file to move corporate HQ offshore, along with all other operations.

  6. Mike, hasn’t the 35% corporate income tax already done that?

Have to agree, Bill Richards is a great choice.
