Kentucky? Who needs it…

Who needs it?The media is calling a Clinton win in Kentucky, but check out their reactions. This is a big shift from the kid gloves they were using on Clinton during the post Super Tuesday contests.

Sure, CNN isn’t calling it a minor victory - quite the contrary - but neither are they saying that it’s breathing life into her campaign. Kentucky is a victory for her, no doubt - it will boost her popular vote count and help her maintain confidence, but even in the media’s eyes it’s too late for it to make a meaningful difference. Plus, the way the numbers are rolling in now, this isn’t nearly as big a victory as her triumph in West Virginia.

The question now remains, how will Clinton face the delegate deficit when today is over? Will she bow out gracefully? After months of uphill fighting, it doesn’t seem likely, but something has got to give. Even Howard Dean said that by June the Democrat party will have a nominee. Here’s to hoping we hear the news even sooner than that.

  1. Hillary isn’t going anywhere; anytime she appears DOA, Bill comes along to revive her.

Tonight, she has a net gain of over 100,000 votes and at least a dozen or so delegates.
