Amazing for a guy who hasn’t actually ever accomplished anything significant in any of the above categories.
Actually , he’s also behind on illegal immigration and tied on Iraq.
Someones Math is off
Last time i checked 36 was above 34
Fixed.
I find it odd he’s above on immigration. McCain is the sponsor of amnesty.
And obama voted for it, so it’s just a matter of who people felt like picking
It still comes down to the electoral votes not polls and popular votes.
And not that many people consider terrorism (or immigration) the most important issue. The economy and Iraq dominate.
Just a funny tidbit from a Fortune article - McCain said that the greatest threat to the American economy was, you guessed it, a terrorist attack. Nothing about oil, food prices, health care. Terrorism. Talk about a one-track mind.
I can see McCain’s point. Our economy is a lot more resilient than people think, and we’re doing a lot better than most of the country believes. That’s despite high oil, food and health care prices.
However, a terrorist attack on American soil could really destabilize the economy. A market is prepared for rising commodity prices and can absorb such changes, terrorist attacks create unpredictable fluxuations.
That is not to say that a terrorist attack is the only threat to america or that it is the threat we should be most worried about, but another 9/11 could really hurt us.
