Ralph Nader is proving to be a “pathetic” figure

Ralph Nader made some charges against presumptive Democratic nominee, Barack Obama. I am not even going to dignify them here, although you can read all about it by clicking here if you must. I have great empathy for Ralph Nader because I now see this running for President charade for what it is: a pathetic attempt to authenticate himself.

He didn’t need to do any of this. Ralph Nader has always been authentic. I admire his fight for the little guy. I admire his standing up to corporate America when the need arose. His list of accomplishments are extensive.

But when he tries to smear a good man with senseless allegations, I draw the line. Nader’s Presidential campaign is not going well. The media is bored with him, which by extension means the public is bored with him. He can be proud that he played a role in electing the worst President in our history, George W. Bush and all that entails: Iraq War, lower taxes for the rich, all-time high energy cost, all-time high food costs, lack of a long-term solution to the energy crisis, and it goes on and on and on.

Here are two cliches for you, Ralph. First, we won’t get fooled again. And second, just be a good old soldier Ralph and just fade away. Reading on Walden Bookstore.

  1. If it makes you feel any better, I signed a ballot access petition for Ralph Nader the other day. I don’t intend to vote for him though.

  2. And energy prices wouldn’t be at highs if Al Gore won?

  3. I’m 49 and have never voted in any election of any kind - local, state or federal. But I’ve registered and will vote and work for Ralph Nader this year. I have no use for any of the corporate front-men we’ve been spoon fed for the last 30 years (at least).

  4. I just read another article bashing Ralph Nader, but all the comments that followed were Americans that saw through the smoke and revered this man that has nothing but good for each of us. Obama is not change, he is politics as usual.

Nothing but stench comes out of Washington, Ralph is the breath of fresh air this country needs
