Obama has sealed his fate

When Obama made the bilingual comment yesterday (”Your kids should learn Spanish”), I think he sealed his fate. He might still be ahead in the polls but as soon as the Republicans begin to drive this one home after the conventions are over, Obama is toast. He might lose by only 2 or 3 percent, but he will lose now, there is little doubt. Barack Obama cannot win the important swing states with such idiotic comments.

The Democrats will still retain control of the House and Senate, perhaps increasing their majorities, but expect to see old Juan McAmnesty as the commander in chief next year.

    I have a 4 year old nephew who is learning Spanish from his favorite cartoon DIEGO!

    lighten up.. enough of the xenophobia.

    in my opinion.. we should be teaching our kids Chinese and or Arabic.

    Son of… My kid does know Chinese (pretty fluent) and learned a fair amount of Spanish. He massively resents the bilingual push forced essentially by people who are not in this country legally (his mother is a legal immigrant).

    Obama switched my college kid’s vote with that comment, as he did many others.

    If you are going to learn a language and don’t have specific family or business related priorities, Spanish is the most logical language to learn. All that production in China will be going back to Mexico if gas prices keep going up.

    I have in-laws in China; even are a part-owner of my brother-in-law’s condo there (the building; land ownership belongs to the state).

    Actually, I’m figuring that I can set up a outsourcing as a retirement business in my daughter’s country (Uganda) and bleed business off the increasingly expensive India. Revenge is sweet!
