Does anyone even read the New Yorker that will have their opinion changed by this image? The more ‘elite’ among us are the only ones who even read this magazine. From Wikipedia on subscription data (only about a million subscribers):
The average household income of a New Yorker subscriber was $80,957 in 2005, while the average income for a U.S. household with a subscription to a news magazine was $67,003, and the U.S. average household income was $51,466.
Looks to me like more media reporting on something that doesn’t even matter.

It just shows that Obama is truly the first post-racial candidate; he has to take the same crap and deal with the same coarsening of political discourse as everyone else.
This falls into the same category aswhat Condi Rice has had to deal with. Difference is, this Obama cover was meant as satire.
The issues is almost entirely ridiculous since the New Yorker is attempting to lampoon the right! Perhaps no one told the New Yorker that they shouldn’t engage in free speech, and instead should resign themselves to act as a unofficial PR reps for the Obama campaign. Geesh.
When they stop talking about you is when you have to worry.
