John Edwards affair story turns out to be true

The National Enquirer (no relation to the prestigious Political Inquirer) caught Edwards sneaking off to be with his mistress in Los Angeles. This story surfaced last year but there was no confirmation until now. (Via Drudge)

    Why hasn’t the mainstream media come forward with this….until they do I believe it is just sensational rag paper news and question its facts…. I truly hurts my heart to think of what his wife must be going through especially when she is fighting an even bigger issue.

    Red: being sourced by the Enquirer is a problem, but the New Media is also real selective. After all, the NYT had a lengthy front-page piece- with 4 bylines- on John McCain’s non-affair awhile back on far less tenuous sourcing. And how long did they cover for good old Bill CLinton?

    The MSM simply doesn’t want to hurt Edward’s shot at being the AG in an Obama presidency.
