John Edwards gives Political Pond Scum a Bad Name

Lawyer politicians are an unsavory breed apart; the typical one is quite capable of forgetting key anniversaries when they don’t match their current political memes, or even forgetting personal commitments they make to people in need.

But it takes a special kind of low life, a mutant variety, to cheat on a dying woman (whose illness he used to raise campaign money during the affair) , lie about it for months, then come clean- with MSM collusion on timing-  on a high news day to try to bury the story.

    Jack, if you compare the facts of the two instances, I think the differences are quite clear. McCain’s was a voluntarily admitted, typical middle-aged marital collapse and uncontested divorce, as opposed to the kind of unique stuff listed above.

    Another sad part of all of this is the fact that there’s idiots out there who will accept his public apology. Apology my ass… the only thing he’s sorry about is that he got caught. He’s scum; complete and total self-absorbed scum.
    Unfortunately, in a few years this will be forgotten. Then some other pathetic excuse for a human being will come along and something like it. It never ends. It’s no wonder a lot of people feel as if this country is going to shit. I’m certainly not a religious person, and I certainly don’t like heavy handed morality, but at the same time, we really do need to take a step back and examine what the hell we’ve become.

    i love that people are trying to spin this as in the “same ole.” this creep will end up makin’ eliot spitzer look like the pope. edwards cannot stop lying, he’s apparently delusional and/or crazy. when the media get done with him he’s gonna be roadkill, and he’ll have earned every bit of it. so if you’re liberal and you liked this guy, just have the good taste to say nothing and move on, cause this one is truly pathetic…..
