Sarah Palin had good things to say about the only two decent Republicans during the primary, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul. Word is that she also liked Pat Buchanan. Sounds good to me.

A former beauty queen with brains and toughness, who also likes to hunt and fish? Where was I when they were handing out wives like that??? (I certainly wasn’t snowmobiling across 2000 miles of tundra like her hubby was; a man’s man, darn it).
Here is a reason: She is Dick Cheney in a skirt.
Wikipedia bio: “The fired police chief eventually sued Palin on the grounds that he was fired because he supported the campaign of Palin’s opponent, but his suit was eventually dismissed when the judge ruled that Palin had the right under state law to fire city employees, even for political reasons.”
Note those last four words: “even for political reasons.”
There is more. She attempted to influence an investigation of her sister’s ex.
When the agency director attempted to follow proper procedures in the investigation, she had him (Monegan) fired for failure to fire the ex in-law. That act is under investigation, but what can you expect when it is considered appropriate to fire people for political reasons.
And then there is this little bit of abuse of power and process:
“Palin was behind the construction of the Wasilla Multi-Use Sports Complex, a $15 million multi-use indoor ice arena, as her legacy. However, developer Gary Lundgren acquired the land before Palin could. Without the deed, Palin decided to build the arena there anyway, and attempted to acquire the land through eminent domain, but a federal appeals court ruled in favor of Lundgren. The case is in the process of being resolved in the courts.[13] It will cost Wasilla at least an additional $1.67 million to acquire the land[14] and Wasilla is still attempting to cover the budget shortfall by cutting library services, postponing capital improvement projects, and raising fees.”
Her touted “ethics” improvements look more like attempts, frequently successful, to eliminate political opposition.
On Taxes:
“helped pass a tax increase on oil company profits.[22][24]”
“supporter of the controversial new sales tax”
“We want to make sure that that V.P. slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans..”
And finally this from the REPUBLICAN State Senate President Lyda Green: “She’s not prepared to be governor. How can she be prepared to be vice president or president?”
