Palin rumors abound

A Daily Kos story on Palin’s child and some very troubling speculation (as well as pictures and video included).

Looking at the pictures I am now very skeptical about the truth of the story. I would like some confirmation from the Palin side that it was her baby, but just by looking at the dated pictures (you can double check the dates of most of those photos with Google) but I am now leaning toward believing a Kos attack is actually true.

UPDATE 9/01: Rumor rebutted.

  1. Lance, that is laughable; read the post above while you were writing this drivel. That pregnancy was handled by scores of medical staff (including the pre-natal test that detected the Down’s Syndrome, common only in older mothers) and delivered at a hospital. To have them all in on the conspiracy exceeds even Truther mentality.

The rumors abound because of the terror she has caused on the Left. A strong, attractive leadership female is only allowed to be a liberal, in their eyes. Anything else needs to be smashed with every sexist trick in the book.

  2. Did some more reading on it and I am more confused than ever.

The thing that confuses me the most is the pictures of the daughter + the pictures of the mother not looking like she is expecting a baby (at all).

  3. Pregnancy based on pictures??? Then I’d be in big trouble. A score of medical people involved don’t seem to count for as much as some overeating by her daughter I guess.

Of course, when you only show the pictures that ‘show’ what your point, it’s simplifies things. But try these.

You can move on to the college boob joke scandal listed in that same link if you want to fall in with the deranged wing of the nutroots, but I think you’re better than that, Lance.

  4. Looks like her picture was taken in 2006.

So far looking false now the more I have looked into it.

  5. Even the Kossacks have thrown in the towel on this one, after revealing a tremendous level of sexism.

  6. Wow!!! The folks at the Dailykos never disappoint when one is searching for an exhibition of the types of scum they really are. I for one hopes they keep attacking (I hope they do it even more so actually).

The idiots have a video embedded which is described as Palin ‘slamming’ Clinton. What was the slam? Palin criticism that Clinton’s contention that she was getting ganged up on by the men (which she kinda was) was being perceived as a whine. I guess the ‘slam’ was Palin suggestion that Clinton should show the world a strong women and not a whiner (Hindsight being 20/20 and all, I imagine that Clinton would handle it differently given a chance). ‘Slam’ though? Even when lots of people watching felt she was giving in to the role of the damsel in distress a bit (men and women)… These folks are idiots!

Please attack in this manner so she can show them how a real ‘strong women’ does it..This is great because fall out from the drama actually make n even more compelling story than Obama’s. Lets see, you got a minority running for a high profiled elected office that IS actually underestimated and loathe (because she dare be a pro-life Republican) by the great power of the Media, as well as sexism run a muck. Talk about compelling!

  7. Hello,

I watched Meet the Press and heard the promotional of Sarah Palin. However, what I don’t understand is why did they send in the low level, of the Republican tier, if the base is so excited?

Another thing, where are the big endorsements from prominent Republican members such as: Newt, Pat Buch, George Bush (41 especially, and, 43) Karl Rove, Rice, Cheney? And, the brigade of high ranking Republican military to solidify her “readiness”. Just to name a few players. What happened to morning Joe’s Scarborough this morning promoting her? No American wants to watch 3 day coverage of a hurricane, all day long. We can, ourselves, go to the internet and get up-to-date info on the storm.

Basically, the Republican Party has realized McCain blew it with this choice. Nobody, is buying this hard sell. The internet is a-buzz because mainstream media is running scared of their bosses. There has been no oposing viewpoint on any media channel since the announcement. We Americans are loving this. It’s pure power. We can go from site to site, sourcing out our own material and sharing it with others in our social groups. With this being a holiday weekend, and because of what I described above, we can circulate our own media bias whatever that may be.

In my fact finding research most Alaskian Newspapers (I was reading for an entire day, it was that extensive); as an Independent, voter I found out:

She has ethics and judgment problems – 1.) Questions about the baby, high risk pregnancy, her behavior when faced with labor out of town, etc. 2.) HIGHLIGHT: To use a special needs baby campaigning is extremely poor judgment. What does her husband do? Every report is–has worked for, or seasonal. What does that mean…sits home, lives off his wife, pumps out babies and watches his wife work herself to death? She’s either on her back or her feet working. This picture sends the wrong message to our sons and daughters.

Maybe, you should give us clarity by doing a investigative story on him so voters can have all the facts.

  8. The thing about getting on the airplane is especially troubling. A fifth pregnancy and she gets on a plane for an eight hour flight while she is already in labor with a child that she knows is Downs? That sounds like an attempt at abortion by negligence.

I think this thing is just getting started.

I am somehow reminded of Billy Carter, Jimmie’s brother.

  9. Jack: you can put down the uber-sexist Obama black ops play book. All these ‘barefoot-pregnant’ memes anywhere near a PUMA and you’re like to ensure claw marks and additional company for John Coale.

Go read some of the PUMA sites and realize that Obama could use those votes, workers and financial support. Also, realize your own boss- whose family history is far from stellar- has told his people to stop this. He knows a losing hand when he sees one and probably doesn’t want too much digging into his own ‘Billy Carter’ past.

  10. Uber-sexist? In which of my words is there any of that? None!

You are making FRAUDULENT claims again, Mike.

Do you really think that was an intelligent decision for her to get on that plane?

  11. I’m sorry, but I think everyone is being childish. This is American politics, not high school.
Jack, as a male, you can not even begin to understand a woman’s ability or non-ability to make good decisions concerning childbirth. After five children, do you really think she does not know what she is doing? So far none of her children are dead. I would also like to know how this has anything to do with politics. In case no one has noticed, she’s not even running for president.
Also, if McCain did make such a bad choice as Presidential VP, why is every democrat on the planet attacking her? I would think they needn’t bother if she was so highly unqualified and unsuitable. In trying to rid her from the Republican ticket, wouldn’t that be helping the enemy in a sense?
However, I digress. The main issue here are these rumors. To to even consider any of the Palin rumors as feasible is absolutely laughable. It would take a great deal of imagination to create, let alone believe, a family so scandalous actually exists.
Could everyone take a big breath and count to ten? We are big boys and girls and have the ability to focus on what actually matters in a presidential race, Sarah Palin’s fundamental and political stances on issues. Now that that is settled, shall we stop the mud slinging?

  12. “…as a male, you can not even begin to understand a woman’s ability or non-ability to make good decisions concerning childbirth.”

    Now there is some uber-sexism.
