Watching the debacle of the Obama Administration has gotten entertaining in a horrifically morbid kind of way. Something like watching the “Dumb and Dumber” duo assist an epileptic Hannibal Lechter doing surgery on you while you’re under an epidural and can do nothing to stop them.
Tax Cheat Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is so far over his head, he’ll likely get the bends before he drowns. The parody writes itself when he cluelessly anounced going after international tax cheats. He’s been unable to fill any of the slots beneath him, two nominees ran screaming over the hill today in abject terror. General Custer had more chance of staffing up after several thousand Sioux had him surrounded. Geithner will face this continuing economic train wreck as lone conductor of the train.
Then Dr. Gupta- a pick that showed utter contempt for the medical profession- pulls out, realizing he’s become a medical parody even more embarrassing than being on CNN (where the pay is probably better). Obama is on his third attempt for an HHS Secretary; now, the One proclaims health reform can’t wait (until we we find out how much they’ll screw us up with it).
Executives who will be pushing for more tax revenue for the One after having not kept up payment of their own and foreign policy advisors heavily beholden to various foreign interests. All from the ’smarter’, Ivy League president
Now even Politico has noticed that we essentially elected a teleprompter as President, something some of us noted long ago. There is nothing that destroys confidence in the leadership of the moment when the Dear Leader has to read every bit of ‘wisdom’ to us.
