I have a secret to tell all of you. You need to be ready for this, because it’s very important. Put everything down. Are you listening now? Nothing that has gone on in the last two weeks has been about healthcare. There’s a secret race war brewing. Did you know about this?
John Dingell (D-Michigan) has recently said on national television that the healthcare reformers remind him of the Ku Klux Klan.
Cynthia Tucker has decided (via objective empirical research no doubt) that 45%-65% of town hall protesters are racists who do not want a black president, and never will.
CHRIS MATTHEWS: Put 100 of these people in a room. Strap them into gurneys. Inject them with sodium pentathol. How many of them would say “I don’t like the idea of having a black president”? What percentage?
CYNTHIA TUCKER: Oh, I’m just guessing. This is just off the cuff. I think 45 to 65% of the people who appear at these groups are people who will never be comfortable with the idea of a black president.
Right .. just off the cuff. Anyone who doesn’t get a tingle up their leg when Obama speaks obviously has an issue with a black president. It couldn’t be they don’t approve of more government control and generational theft via a massive national debt, or even worry that their healthcare quality will go down.
Paul Krugman has also figured out this secret race war:
That is, the driving force behind the town hall mobs is probably the same cultural and racial anxiety that’s behind the “birther” movement, which denies Mr. Obama’s citizenship. Senator Dick Durbin has suggested that the birthers and the health care protesters are one and the same; we don’t know how many of the protesters are birthers, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it’s a substantial fraction.
MSNBC has also figured it out. Not only is healthcare a code word for a race war, but the word socialist is a code word for n****r. Socialist is the new N-word. This explains why the Obama joker poster is racist, it all makes sense now!
So if socialist is the new N-word, then N-word is what? I guess it means “conservative” or maybe “capitalist pig”. What makes me think that? Maybe because a union thug who beat a black protester called him a n****r right before doing it. I wonder how many black supporters of healthcare have been beaten and called the N-word? I’d be interested if anyone has any such cases. All he was doing was handing out “don’t tread on me” flags. Now he’s filing a hate crimes charge, as he should.
Opposition to healthcare reform among independents is actually fairly high right now. Yes, this is the same group that was instrumental in electing a black president.
Most notable, however, is the opposition among voters not affiliated with either party. Sixty-two percent (62%) of unaffiliated voters oppose the health care plan, and 51% are strongly opposed. This marks an uptick in strong opposition among both Republicans and unaffiliateds, while the number of strongly supportive Democrats is unchanged.
I don’t deny there are racists out there, and I don’t deny some might be sitting at those town hall meetings. But the absolute obsession to degenerate any conversation into accusations and insinuations of racism is amazing. And frankly, I’m starting to get bored by it, because it’s obvious pandering and word games.
So we’ve re-defined a number of words today. ’Socialist’ means the n-word, the n-word means ‘conservative capitalist’, and ‘racist’ means ‘what I call my opponents because I have no other line of thought’.
Now go off, and use these words well.
To all of you who think healthcare reform opponents are racists, is there a specific reason?

It make me nauseous just reading such outlandish attacks. Notice anytime you make a point while discussing politics with a liberal they will 1)attack you personally, 2)attack your source as having another agenda, or 3)change the subject. Very rarely do they know what they are talking about because for the most part they don’t read the bills they are supporting. They are simply repeating the bilge their party leaders spill out and adding whatever emotion the issue evokes in them.
The people who play the race card are like the child on the play ground who chides and taunt with fingers in their ears while spewing out “blu-lu-lulu”…. in other words, they got nothin’
Said with a bit more finesse, it serves to demonstrate just how intellectually lazy they are on the issue. They cannot offer a genuine and workable alternative with wide appeal. They cannot engage at the intellectual level. They only know one thing; emotion. It is how we got the likes of this Obama-nation.
My Chinese wife and Ugandan daughter will certainly need to know that I’m a racist.
