About the Political Inquirer

The Political Inquirer is devoted to the free exchange of ideas through writing. Our devotion to freedom of the press comes from the legacy of American speech protection, the most popular citation of which is the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which says that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

We were formed to promote the idea of liberty through freedom of speech and press. No political agenda is pushed at the Inquirer. Opinions are those of the individual writers and not of the Political Inquirer as a whole. No editorial, article, review, or any other piece of work has been or will be modified or deleted by editors for political purposes.

At the Inquirer, we strive to keep true the words of Thomas Jefferson: that truth is great and will prevail if left to herself, that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate, errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them.
