The biggest news in the Health Care debate only gets a blog spot here. This is promising to me because people are asking the question about why Insurance Companies are not restricted by the anti-trust regulations. The simple answer is because they are not allowed to operate across state lines. Putting them under the anti-trust [...]

Aside from making the same ridiculous claims about the holocaust, they informed the IAEA about a nuclear facility under construction and invited them for inspections exactly as required. The media is once again regurgitating the same lies as during the Bush Administration. Couple of things to consider as to why this may be occurring: 1) [...]

Yesterday, South Carolina Representative Joe Wilson exhibited a somewhat less than politically correct attitude when he shouted at President Obama, “You Lie!”. While this behavior may be somewhat out of the ordinary in our normal Senate proceedings, when you look at the behavior of other countries such as England in their parliamentary proceedings or even look at [...]

Is this a turning of the tide, or just a clever way for Big Oil to patent and restrict future advancements.

…much less teach there. A harvard professor arrested for “causing a scene” by a police officer who was called to investigate a potential break in says “I would do the same thing exactly again.” At least he could have been clever and said “Next time I will get my door repaired.” Someone should correct Obama and point [...]

I wonder what he would have said about our own Revolutionary Coup? And with every day Obama is in office, the US moves further to the left. So let’s see, while he reluctantly stood up up for the Iranian people, he wasted no time along with Chavez and every other leftist leader chastising the Honduran people. [...]

Based on your latest filing status with the IRS, a portion of your income taxes will be returned to you each month in the form of a rebate. Individual filing singly; ~$200, married filing joint with 2 dependants, ~$400. Actuaries can determine the precise amount, it is not critical to the discussion. If changes occur during the year, [...]

Government run Health Care; which I prefer to call Socialism, a ticking time bomb, infringement on our medical freedom, etc… is not being honestly discussed. This should come as no surprise to the informed person with well thought out judgments, but let’s face it, there are a lot of ignorant people out there and unfortunately they outnumber the rest [...]

First off, let me say that I am proud that our Congress turned down the request for funds to close Gitmo without a plan. I do not believe this has anything to do with a fear that our prison’s might not be able to hold them securely, I feel this is rightly about a concern that we [...]

I was doing some online searching regarding Stem Cell Research and I ran across this article. It was interesting enough and worth a read but what really caught my attention was one of the comments by a James P. Kelly. Below is a link to the article and his comment. http://health.usnews.com/blogs/heart-to-heart/2009/03/04/why-embryonic-stem-cells-are-obsolete.html JK – Americans pay [...]

If this gets any traction put all your money under your mattress and get out of stocks completely. Little Timmy and Big Ben are advocating more government control over corporations because they might be a risk to market stability. Instead of taking control over a corporation, how about instead the government grants itself the authority [...]

In determining whether or not the recent NY Post cartoon is actually racist, I first go to the dictionary for a definition of racism. Racism noun 1. the prejudice that members of one race are intrinsically superior to members of other races 2. discriminatory or abusive behavior towards members of another race For point number [...]

Many of the worlds cell phone companies have come together and agreed upon a universal charger format by 2012. The format will be micro-USB. This will save costs, reduce waste, and was all done without governmental intervention.

Paul Begala and Mark Sanford have been going back and forth a bit lately on the pending stimulus package. Paul Begala wrote an article today challenging Mark Sanford to not take any stimulus funds for South Carolina since he is against it. I must say that Paul Begala really laid it out there with this proposal. The problem is, [...]

As much as our politicians love to proclaim the virtues of our capitalistic free market system to nations abroad, they do not hesitate to lose faith in our system and find every opportunity to put on their Super Government cape and come to our rescue whenever they can. Take for instance the federally mandated transition to Digital TV. [...]

With Barak Obama leaning on Democrats to get rid of a program from the Stimulus Package that would have allowed purchase of contraceptives under Medicaid, you might be a bit surprised at this little “memo” that removes limitations on Aid Grants that could be used for abortions, both domestic and abroad. I don’t understand what kind of person [...]

Legislation submitted by Claire McCaskill is limiting corporate compensation for any employee of a company that receives bail out money. Rudy Giuliani opposes the measure on the grounds that by cutting the bonus pay you are going to hurt the economy of New York. On that note, I guess we should also tell CitiGroup to go ahead and [...]

House version of the Bail Out part II $550 billion – Total spending, a hell of a lot of money! $142 billion for education - A complete waste of funds. Higher skilled, higher paid, and more teachers along with better instruction material won’t change the fact that kids just don’t care. Only parents can do that. And why is [...]

Listening to Blagojevich quote the Bible, old movies, Gandhi, and a seemingly unending list of historical and religious figures is all very amusing. I have to hand it to the man, he makes a very convincing case that the world is out to get him and justice is being thwarted in favor of group think style Salem Witchcraft trials. [...]
