Obama’s Truman/MacArthur Moment

Barack Obama is in precisely the same situation as Harry Truman nearly 60 years ago. No matter what ones opinion is of whose idea for prosecuting the war is correct and without regard for political philosophies and party affiliations, the President of the United States cannot – should not – be challenged in public by his military leaders.

Terrorism Owns Us

It doesn’t matter if we cleanse Iraq, contain Iran, flatten Afghanistan or neutralize al Qaeda, terrorism owns America at least for the remainder of our generation.

Beck’s Lie

On his February 2nd show, in making a point about America’s growing dependency on China, Beck said something that infuriated me. Being challenged on philosophy is one thing, but when a lie is used to stoke that challenge – well, that’s just pure liberalism that I can’t tolerate.

Iran: Two Men, Two Lessons

Ahmadinejad’s unstable bluster along with claims of nuclear weapons capability, historic and recurring fears of multi-national destruction in the Middle East are higher than ever. There is the potential for a Cuban-Missile-Crisis like confrontation between the United States and the Castro of Persia.

National Security Negligence

The president is – once again – negligent when it comes to a critical issue of national security. He doesn’t care. He has paid only lip (or teleprompter) service to the subject and reverted to his socialist domestic agenda. He is – once again – allowing politics to intrude on a critical national security. He is incapable of focusing on more than one topic at a time.

And the Winner is…

Yet another President of the United States wins the Nobel Peace Prize! Yee Ha! We’re Number One! We’re Number One! USA! USA! USA! USA! OK. Enough poorly constructed sarcasm. The Norwegian selection committee continues to make a sham of this award. Before Obama it was Al Gore and Jimmy Carter before him. Is ACORN now [...]

Welcome To World War 3

Consider the disruption caused by three airplanes crashing into as many buildings in 2001. A coordinated cyberattack in just a couple of American cities would shut down the entire nation – possibly for years.

Will USAF drop calling card upon Iran Nuke facilities?

The Pentagon is shifting spending from other programs to fast forward the development and procurement of the Massive Ordnance Penetrator. The Pentagon comptroller sent a request to shift the funds to the House and Senate Appropriations and Armed Services Committees over the summer. Continued …

The Coming of the White Obama!

Former President Bill Clinton is heading to California to fully endorse San Francisco’s Mayor Gavin Newsom for the Governorship of California.   If you think Barack Obama is clueless on how to run a government, you better watch your peas and cues and point your radar screen to the meteoric rise of Gavin Newsom in [...]

Open Letter to President Obama and the DNC

To: President Obama and the Democratic National Committee: Mr. President; Ladies and Gentlemen: With regard to recent events both domestic and foreign, I must assure you in the strongest terms that you are unequivocally playing with danger. Since taking office, you have confused our allies, insulted our friends, bewildered the American public, ducked serious issues, [...]

The Lessons of History

What are the diplomatic and geopolitical repercussions of Obama’s decision? Aside from the asinine timing of the announcement – on the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s invasion of Poland – who gains from this change in policy? The U.S. does, marginally, according to the Pentagon, but Putin’s Russia and Ahmadinejad’s Iran are the greatest beneficiaries.

No (Oba)mas

Obama isn’t doing much to quell the growing concern in this country that he’s poor at foreign affairs, soft on tyrannical regimes and, most of all, blind to the dangers of Islamic TERRORISTS!

Lessons From Iran

Iranians are rejecting the same suffocating controls Americans are accepting.

American Capitalism Gone With A Whimper

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Obama passed first Security Test, per MSM

Analysis: Obama scores win on pirate crisis His administration passes its first critical national security test …against 4 lightly armed pirates in an out-of-gas lifeboat with a single hostage, taking 4 days to ‘pass’. … as a bit player who issued a general instruction on force that he had to clarify the next day and [...]

Eunuch diplomacy doing little for global respect

With all the criticism of the previous administration’s ‘cowboy’ diplomacy, let’s see what the ‘smarter’ diplomacy has gotten us so far: An appeal to Iran was met by derision by the head cleric and marches in the streets of people shouting ‘Death to America’ The mislabelled ‘restart’ button given to the Russians seems to have [...]

The Flag of Allah over Downing Street

Open immigration and anti-Western ideologies (social democracy and neoconservatism) are leading to the destruction of the West. Muslims in Britain can now openly call for their flag to fly on Downing Street. Anjem Choudary said he wanted the “flag of Allah” flying over Downing Street, all women wearing burkas and caning for drunkenness. This is [...]

Has our foreign policy over the past 100 years been wrong?

Ron Paul thinks it is possible and after a lot of reading the past 5+ years I agree with him.

The Return of Rightwing Paranoia

Anthony Gregory points out that conservatives now oppose the state despite Obama enacting Bush-like policies. Most importantly, conservatives must learn to oppose aggressive foreign policy during this era that they are out of power, less they make the same mistakes as last time. The conservatives have better instincts when they are out of power, but [...]

Thoughts on George W. Bush

The past eight years have been interesting ones. We have seen an attack on the United States by radicalized Muslims, we have seen one large recession and the beginning of what could be a major depression, we have seen our military send troops to two different countries in large numbers and we have seen China [...]
