The Immigrant Council of Ireland (ICI) is to make an official complaint to the Garda Síochána today about the publication of what it considers to be a racially offensive article that appeared in the Irish Independent last week.
The ICI said it believed the publication of the article, “ [...]

OK, this one is nowhere close to amusing; The World Court demands that a stay of execution be issued for Jose Medellin. His case went up through our Supreme Court that ruled, while those that were (by age, not by act) juveniles could not be executed in this case, this POS could be. He saw [...]

Let’s hear it for small groups of people getting together and doing something about a problem. A town in Nebraska called Fremont is determined to take care of the illegal alien problem without relying on the federal government. I have a little disagreement with the methods but whatever they choose is their business, I don’t [...]

Did anyone notice that despite all the talk about illegal immigration last year, the establihment managed to get two candidates, one on each side, that is a complete flip-flop from the illlegal immigration stance that most Americans hold?
There’s only one obvious reason. The merging of the three North American countries has been a goal long [...]

A Swedish Vodka company promotes a “Mexican takeover” of American property in an effort to market their brand to Hispanics in the Southwest.
The billboard and press campaign, created by advertising agency Teran\TBWA and now running in Mexico, is a colorful map depicting what the Americas might look like in an “Absolut” — i.e., perfect — [...]

Laurie Roth (who I have never heard of before) had an article placed on WorldNetDaily today called “Are we closer to 1938 than we realize?” I clicked it because it sounded up my alley. After reading it, I was utterly disgusted that someone would actually make this comparison.
Ms. Roth contends that Muslims are on the [...]

Mike Huckabee: world’s greatest political hack. Has anyone stopped to think why I would call him that? The reasons may have come to your head. You might like him; but, have you even tried to think that there might be something Un-righteous about him?
I am disappointed in the Christians of America. Do we so find [...]

Tonight, one Republican and one Democrat made a clean sweep of all the states up for grabs. John McCain and Barack Obama won with extensive margins in the states. What does this mean for Obama and McCain? For Obama this is most likely a statement to the Clinton Campaign saying,” Oh yeah, guess what? We’re [...]

For all the gains that a John McCain candidacy will make with independent voters, those gains are clearly negated because of his growing unpopularity with the conservative Republican base. They just don’t like him. It is not just names like Dobson, Coulter and Limbaugh that despise him. It is also the southern church-going, God-fearing, hard-working [...]

In an election cycle that has been filled with bizarre twists and comical changes, like Rudy’s inevitability to him on the verge of losing his own state, then to the rise of Mike Huckabee, and then the complete smashing of his record as Arkansas governor, it is unfortunate to say that the final chapter this [...]

I admit, I have many problems with the other candidates. The problem that concerns me the most can be summed up in this phrase, “You can’t beat Hillary by being Hillary.” It is harsh, but also true. I dislike most of the Republicans running for office because they are, frankly, Hillary-ites or Hillary-lite, or in [...]

In an effort to win the South Carolina primary, Mike Huckabee has backtracked on immigration. The former Arkansas governor has been hurting in South Carolina due to his immigration stance, being in the same boat as Senator John McCain.
Huckabee declared, by signing a new immigration pledge, to enforce the laws and eventually remove illegal aliens [...]

During the summer everyone thought John McCain was dead and buried, especially after a failed immigration reform bill supported by George Bush, and many liberal Democrats, which would’ve given a path to citizenship for the 12-20 million illegal immigrants in the country. McCain pulled out of the August straw poll in Iowa out of fear [...]

I think Huckabee’s plan to steal Ron Paul’s philosophy on Birthright citizenship is disgusting. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution has caused a lot of problems in American society, birthright citizenship being only one. Does the Constitution have to be changed, though, to change the birthright citizenship laws? Let’s take a look at the 14th [...]

From an MSM news article today:
Mike Huckabee wants to amend the Constitution to prevent children born in the U.S. to illegal aliens from automatically becoming American citizens, according to his top immigration surrogate — a radical step no other major presidential candidate has embraced.
When Ron Paul discusses it, he’s called crazy, now Huckabee is saying [...]

Illegal immigration, that is. We are up to a new immigrant every 30 seconds. I don’t think our immigration quota for legal residents is that high, so I suppose the Census Bureau is taking into account an estimation of illegal immigration as well.
We have to control our borders or we are in for a lot [...]

Immigration will be a non-issue in the coming Presidential campaign
There will be one positive aspect of a November contest between McCain/Obama or a McCain/Clinton campaign. The great immigration debate issue being espoused by many unenlightened Republicans, conservatives and neocons, will be greatly diluted. The belief held by these groups is that we should “deport them all.”
Dowell Myers, author of “Immigrants and Boomers: Forging a [...]
